Haryana Chief Minister brightened the faces of destitute or homeless youngsters by providing them with government jobs

Chandigarh, July 25- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal in the last eight and a half years, has set many examples of bringing uniformity and harmony in the society, which have not only been acknowledged at the central level but are also being emulated by other states. The Chief Minister has shown that politics can become a medium of public service by implementing the announcements on the ground within just 24 hours.
During a programme held during COVID-19 pandemic, some children, who were destitute, homeless, surrendered or abandoned by their parents, expressed their desire of further studies in front of the chief minister. He immediately asked officers to formulate a new scheme for the upbringing, free education, and employment of such children. Haryana Government started the Harihar Yojana for the welfare of such children, under which such children will be provided educational, financial, and compassionate employment benefits who have completed 18 years of age from the child care institutions of the state. The Chief Minister brought smiles to the faces of 12 such children on June 22, 2023, by handing over appointment letters for jobs in government departments.
A new initiative has been launched to provide monthly financial assistance to widowers and unmarried people
Recently, the Chief Minister has set an example before the country by providing monthly financial assistance of about Rs. 2750 to widower and unmarried men and women. An unmarried person, male as well as female, whose family income is less than Rs. 1.80 lakh per annum and are between the age of 45-60 years will be provided a pension of Rs. 2750 per month. Apart from this, those widower who have attained the age of 40 years and their family annual income is less than Rs. 3 lakhs will also be eligible for financial assistance of Rs. 2750 per month. The scheme will come into effect from July 1, 2023.
Quick solution to people's problems
The Chief Minister has set a record by getting the Cabinet approval within just 24 hours of his announcement. Earlier, the Chief Minister had set an example by fulfilling the demand raised by the people during the Jan Samvad programmes in Bhiwani, Palwal, Kurukshetra, Sirsa, and Mahendragarh districts within 24 hours. Seeing the speedy fulfillment of the demands put forth by the people during these Jan Samvad programmes, the people's faith in the working style of the Chief Minister seems to be increasing.
