Haryana Government Directs Head Of The Departments Not To Transfer Officials Deployed To Conduct Elections In Sixth Gram Panchayats

Chandigarh, July 24: The Haryana government has directed all Head of Departments not to transfer election officials who have been deployed to conduct the upcoming general elections of six gram panchayats namely Ajampur, Block Naraingarh District Ambala, Chabri, Block Jind, Bhartana. Block Pillukhera, Rojkhera. Block Uchana, District Jind and Juan-l Block Sonipat in the state. The elections will be held on August 13, 2023.
The order issued by the Chief Secretary, Mr Sanjeev Kaushal here today states that the officers and officials of the state government who have been deployed to conduct the elections should not be transferred till the declaration of the results of the elections. However, in case it is considered necessary to transfer an officer or official connected with the elections, the prior written approval of the SEC must be obtained.
The order has been issued in order to ensure the smooth conduct of the elections and to maintain the neutrality of the election process.
