CM inaugurates two projects worth Rs. 7 crores from village Sundrah in Mahendragarh district

Distributes Wheelchairs to PWDs during the Jan Samvad programme

Chandigarh - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today inaugurated two projects completed at a cost of 7 crore from village Sundrah in block Ateli, district Mahendragarh. He also inaugurated the new road from Bachini to Israna Rambas and the Bewal to Rata Kala road constructed at a cost of Rs. 531.80 lakh and Rs 173.58 lakh respectively.

        Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government is working hard to strengthen the infrastructure for healthcare facilities in the state and remarkable steps are being taken in the direction of public service. He also distributed wheelchairs and artificial limbs to Persons with Disability (PWDs) and assured them of all possible cooperation from the government.

Every village to have Vyayamshalas, CM

        During the Jan Samvad, the Chief Minister on the demand of Sarpanches in village Sundrah announced that a Vyayamshala would be opened in every village and the Gram Panchayat would provide 2 acres of land for the same. Besides this, yoga Sahayaks would be appointed in all the Vyayamshalas. The Sports Department is doing the mapping of all the stadiums.

        The Chief Minister said that out of 25 roads, work on 8 roads has started and tenders for 17 roads have been floated. Work on these will also start soon. He also approved the development works worth Rs.8 crores.

We have resolved the water crisis in southern Haryana, CM

        The Chief Minister said that 10 years ago all the ponds and johads in southern Haryana had dried up. Keeping in mind the water crisis situation in southern Haryana, the present government has done the work of filling water in ponds and johads. He said that water has been supplied to 300 tail ends.

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the youth of southern Haryana has got the maximum number of jobs in the present government’s tenure. The youth of South Haryana have a lot of inclination for the army, he added.

PPP is vital for availing personal benefits

        The Chief Minister said that a Parivar Pehchan Patra is also necessary to get personal benefits. He said that the grant of the village also comes according to the population. If even 10 families in the village have not yet made their PPP IDs, then for this reason less money comes from the village grant. That's why everyone should ensure that PPP IDs are made. He said that Ayushman cards have been made for 941 people in Sundrah village and 35 people have taken advantage of it.

Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana

        The Chief Minister informed that under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, employment is being provided to families with an annual income of up to Rs 1 lakh. He informed that 46 families have been selected under this scheme in Sundrah village also. Out of these 29 loan applications of applicants have been approved and 5 people have got loans.
