From the holy land of Kurukshetra, the message of the holy book Gita is reaching the world: Chief Minister

Chandigarh - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the message of the holy book Gita is reaching every nook and corner of the world from the holy land of Kurukshetra. It was on this holy ground that Lord Krishna preached the Gita. These teachings are still relevant to all mankind.
The Chief Minister addressing the gathering at a launch of Sampoorna Gita Pravachan Amrit Varsha_ programme at Akhand Gita Peeth Shaswat Seva Ashram Trust in Kurukshetra late on Tuesday evening.
Earlier, Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, Swami Shaswatanand Giri Maharaj, MLA Sh. Subhash Sudha, MLA Sh. Ramkaran Kala, former MLA Dr. Pawan Saini, and Chairman Sh. Dharamveer Mirzapur inaugurated the Sampoorna Gita Pravachan Amrit Varsha amidst mantra chanting and also participated in the Char Dham Chandi Shila Pujan and Aarti.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister announced to give Rs 11 lakh grant from his discretionary fund for the social service.
The Chief Minister said that with the efforts of Sadguru Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Swami Shashwatnand Giri Maharaj, programmes are being organized on the holy book Gita in the country and abroad. Because of which the teachings of the holy book Gita are reaching the common man which inculcates positive thinking.
MLA, Sh. Subhash Sudha also spoke on the occasion. The programme was presided over by Sadguru Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shaswatanand Giri Maharaj extolled the teachings of the holy book Gita through his discourses. Many dignitaries remained present on the occasion.
