Haryana Chief Minister will inaugurate development projects worth more than Rs. Rs 2,700 crore today

Chandigarh, July 17 – While showering a bonanza of development projects on the people of state, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs. 2,741 crores through video conferencing from Ferozepur Jhirka.

These projects include inauguration of 157 projects worth Rs. 1,279 crore and laying the foundation stone of 190 projects worth Rs. 1,462 crores.

Giving more information in this regard, a government spokesperson said that the Chief Minister will dedicate 10 major projects to the public. Apart from these, Ministers, MPs and MLAs will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of development projects in the programmes organized in several districts.

The spokesperson said that among the main projects that will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister includes the reconstruction of JLN Feeder from RD 0 to 343100 including bridges at a cost of Rs. 305 crores. Along with it, inauguration of augmentation drinking water supply project for various villages of Ferozepur Jhirka assembly constituency and Ferozepur Jhirka city costing Rs. 263 crore and inauguration of 220 KV GIS Substation, Sector-78, Faridabad at a cost of Rs. 44.25 crores.

He further informed that the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for construction of storm water drain on Southern Peripheral Road (Vatika Chowk, NH-48 from Sohna Road) at a cost of Rs. 105 crore, STP for use of treated water for irrigation of Charkhi Dadri Road Bhiwani at a cost of about Rs. 84 crore, Foundation stone of auditorium of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat at a cost of about Rs. 75 crore, New residential buildings in the campus of Mini Secretariat, Charkhi Dadri at a cost of Rs. 70 crore. Besides this, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited 220 KV GIS substation, Sector-89, Faridabad at a cost of Rs. 61 crore, Drinking Water augmentation at Adampur at a cost of Rs. 53 crore. He will also lay the foundation stone of the drinking water system strengthening project and construction work of 3-lane ROB on Surewala chowk to Uklana Bhuna road (State Highway No. 2) at a cost of Rs 50 crore.

The spokesperson said that prior to this, many times the Chief Minister has dedicated the development projects worth more than 2 thousand crore rupees through digital medium. Even today the Chief Minister will dedicate development projects worth more than Rs. 2,700 crore to the public. These projects include development works related to agriculture, animal husbandry, development and panchayats, health, education, irrigation and sports.
