Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2023 Latest Updates: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research in Tamil Nadu has unveiled the schedule for the state's NEET UG counseling 2023, facilitating admissions to prestigious MBBS and BDS programs. The counseling process entails essential steps such as registration, choice filling, document verification list release, seat allotment results, and reporting.

To secure coveted seats in MBBS and BDS courses in Tamil Nadu, candidates must adhere to the specified timelines for each stage.

Key Dates to Remember:

- Choice-filling and locking process begins on July 25, and the application deadline is July 31, 5 pm.

- Candidates can access the official website, tnmedicalselection.net, to enter their choices.

- Unlocked choices will be automatically locked before the deadline.

- Provisional allotment order can be downloaded between August 4 to 8, with the last joining date being August 8.

- In the second round, candidates cannot opt for admission in a category they did not select in the first round.

- Candidates need to pay ₹500 for government quota and ₹1000 for management quota as non-refundable registration fee for participating in online choice-filling.

As per the official notification, candidates can edit their choices multiple times before locking, after which no further changes are permitted.

Once allotted seats, candidates must download the allotment order and complete document verification at the respective colleges. They must also provide a self-declaration, acknowledging that admission will be revoked if any discrepancies are found during the process.
